On Twitter, Spammers Perish
In an interesting post on the ClickZ blog, the writer says, "That question was being chirped this morning by scores of people using Twitter after the social network said it's "correcting follower and following counts."

According to a post on Twitter's "Status" blog: "In particular, those with large followings may see significant changes as we correct for spam accounts and data inconsistencies."

Google-Yahoo Ad Deal: This Is Not a Merger
According to an article posted on the PCmag.com website by author Chloe Albanesius, the "non-exclusive" agreement allowing Yahoo access to Google's AdSense for search and content advertising programs in the U.S. and Canada was announced. This is a 10-year deal. An intial four-year term is followed by two successive optional three-year renewal periods.

AT&T Gets in the Small Business Help Game
On his blog, Jim Kukral touched on the new AT&T small business site. Jim says, "Now AT&T is launching a new Web portal geared and targeted to small business owners (people like me)." He's pretty excited about what's being offered.

  1. I wonder what percent of twitter followers have turned out to be spam accounts. I am guessing my loss to be in the neighborhood of 20 percent. Is that typical in everyone else’s experience?
