  1. Here’s more Affiliate Marketing News for January 2009. It might just be a fair statement to say that this new home based business company called ShopWurld is the “next generation” in affiliate marketing. This company has taken affiliate marketing, social networking, and online shopping and created a MLM or network marketing home based business. They have harnessed affiliate marketing relationships with over 1,000 online stores to create a giant online shopping mall or portal. Members join the company in an MLM format and use the company portal (mall) to shop at their favorite online stores. ShopWurld pays the network members a percentage of the affiliate marketing revenues that it receives that are generated by the individuals personal network. The larger the network, the larger the payout. Their business model also allows non-profit organizations to join as a fundraising program that is going to totally revolutionize the way charities and no-profits raise much needed funds by providing unlimited “residual donations” potential. Charitable organizations and non-profits that have already joined the ShopWurld fundraising program include National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Arthritis Foundation, Bais Chana High School, Kutztown Cheerleaders, Faith Development Ministers Center and many more. The company believes that it’s affiliate marketing member network will grow at a viral rate comparable to that of MySpace and FaceBook. In 2006, more than 6 billion dollars was paid out in affiliate marketing revenues. That number could easily surpass 10 billion in 2009. The ShopWurld Affiliate Marketing home business has made it possible for ordinary people (not just internet guru’s) the opportunity to participate in these billion dollar pay outs.
