But before we move on to actually submitting your articles to article banks, there’s one article marketing pitfall that you need to be aware of so you can avoid it.

Why Posting Duplicate Content Can Hurt Article Marketers

Article banks do not allow you to submit anything but original articles. So remember this….
DO NOT SUBMIT PLR (PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS) ARTICLES YOU’VE PURCHASED TO ARTICLE BANKS!

Write your own original articles, or have a freelancer writer write them for you!

If you’re caught submitting PLR articles as your own original articles to article banks, you will be penalized. The article banks may not allow you to submit any articles at all … ever again.

And if you think article banks get all bent out of shape about duplicate content, just imagine how the search engines react when they find duplicate content!

You can submit PLR articles or articles you’ve published previously or articles that you’ve published on your website to article banks but ONLY IF YOU HAVE SUFFICIENTLY REWRITTEN THEM!

Sufficiently rewriting an article doesn’t mean just changing a couple of words. You must

• Change the title
• Rearrange paragraphs
• Reword sentences

It’s been said that you must make at least ten significant changes to an article to avoid duplicate content penalties.

There are several websites on the Internet where you can check your articles for originality for free. Be sure to check articles that you’ve hired freelancers to write for you.
