At first I thought the term, ‘beefing up’ was maybe just a Texas term, but come to find out it isn’t. According to Answers.com: “beefed-up ( ) adj. Informal. Having been made greater or stronger.”
Now, none of the dictionaries that I consulted could define ‘beefing up.’ But the Answers.com definition is close enough! That is precisely what beefing up is. The term means getting stronger, bigger and better. Isn’t that the idea of an affiliate marketing businesses?
There are several ways that you can beef up your affiliate marketing sales. One of those ways is to promote yourself as an expert on the topic that your products or services relate to by writing articles, ebooks and reports on the topic, and submitting them to article banks and ebook repositories.
Each time an article, report or ebook is reproduced, as the author you gain credibility and establish yourself as an expert.
Another way that you can beef up your affiliate marketing sales is get out there, join and participate in blogs, forums and chat rooms that are about the topic that your products and services are related to.
Blatant advertising won’t be permitted but with your sig tag, you can still promote yourself and your products and services to the people who are most likely to buy them.
Creating your own free ezine or newsletter is another way that you can beef up affiliate marketing sales. People LIKE “free!”
Your ezine or newsletter doesn’t have to be fancy or 50 pages long. It just has to be helpful to those who care about the topic of your website.
You can use your free ezine or newsletter to build your opt-in list and thereby do some serious beefing up of your sales.
