Making PLR Material Your Own

The three most important things in the real estate market (according to the real estate gurus) are location, location and location.

According to internet marketing gurus, the three most important things for a profitable website are content, content and content. But new content doesn’t grow on trees.

If you have more than one web site, finding the time to write your own content is nearly impossible - even for a full time internet marketer. Still, we know we need content, lots of it, and on a very regular basis.

So, the question is, how do we come up with content that is new, original and doesn’t cost us an arm and leg or take hours of our valuable time? The answer is PLR material.

The biggest problem is that not all PLR material is created equal. You should always choose the PLR content you will use carefully.

Good PLR content will include a lot of facts, as well as be grammatically correct (written in good English). If it doesn’t meet those two criteria, you need to keep looking. Once you find good PLR content, though, the rest is really a piece of cake.

Customize PLR to Avoid Duplication

The first, and most important thing to do is to change the title. This isn’t really optional because it’s the first thing your visitors will see, as well as the Search Engines.  No one will read something they have seen a million times before, and you could get a duplicate content penalty from Google!

It has been said that the Search Engines look more thoroughly at the first three paragraphs, so make sure those are completely different.  Also make sure the last paragraph is substantially revised.

Many people just write, and forget all about their Keywords.  After you’ve finished re-writing the content, make sure your main keyword is in the title, as well as in the first sentence,  and at least twice in the first paragraph.

This may all sound a little complicated, but this kind of rewriting takes only a fraction of the time that writing new material takes and it is far less expensive than hiring a ghost writer to write for you.

Find good PLR materials and then rewrite them sufficiently to make them your own and you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to keep up with adding content to your web sites.

I know some affiliates don’t care about the product they’re promoting, they just trust the Guru behind it… Then again, others say don’t worry about the Guru, just look at the product and decide on that basis.

Which IS more important? I tend to do both.

Is that weird? This site in particular made be start thinking about the Guru vs. product issue.

Take a look, there’s so much there.

Does anyone know any details about it? i.e. what it all about, and who is behind it?

I keep getting “pitches” for PLR pro. Still though, 200 people with the same 400 articles is alot. I wonder if giving your PLR articles to a VA to rewrite is the way to go to save time. Any experience with PLR pro? Want to get some feedback before I spend $97/mo.

Re-writing PLR is very important. If you don’t you are at serious risk.

Let’s explore this…

First, if you don’t re-write PLR and you submit it to an article submission directory (e.g., EzineArticles.com) they might *can* you. That’s the last thing you want!

Second, if you use PLR articles on your blog, for example, Google might wipe out your site completely from their index. We’ve seen a lot of stories about people getting sent to the “supplemental results” — their blogs are sent into a black hole, forever. In short, Google doesn’t really like duplicate content. They will punish you.

So, PLR re-writing is very important learn all that you can. Fortunately, you can get help.

(Yes, we’ve helped hundreds of people. Re-writing can be fast and easy. There’s a “formula” — seriously!)

I have been running an article directory for a few weeks and after speed reading about 600 articles I can now spot plr stuff from a mile away..
Don’t worry about dupe content, there are many, many news sites with duplicate content and google doesn’t mind, they said so themselves.
What count is good content, on topics that people want to read about. Just do some research on something, then write it down then go back on it next week and adjust it a bit then post it all over the place, I have articles that immediately bring links back from all over the net as soon as they get picked up by webmasters.
Oh and nobody is posting articles about the web hosting topic, I have 1213 articles and nothing on webhosting, I am sure other directories would also be glad to get some words on the topic, just do a research, see what people look for in a host then talk about what people look for in a host and why! lol unlimited domains and C panel would be a good start.
keep writing and all the best :)
