Google Site Builder?

It seems that Google is BETA testing a site building service! Now, don’t get too excited, it’s pretty limited and may not be HUGE use for affiliates, but then again - you never know.

The service is a basic website builder that allows you to put up some pages as a subdomain to Google - ex/ http://yourgmailusername.googlepages.com

But the neat thing is that if you’re a PPC affiliate and you now want to start having some “middle man” pages, you may be able to start using Google Page Builder for free - they host your page at no cost!

Now, I don’t know much more about the service yet because they have not let me in (I’m on the waiting list). But I figured I’d alert you of it, you can get on the waiting list too…

Very interesting find Anik!

I would be a bit surprised to see Google allowing people to create multiple sites with this tool and send PPC traffic to them.

If they did, the search results would start looking like the old sponsored results where there were hundreds of eBay ads for every search term - except you would have hundreds of googlepages.com sites…

But then again - Google might be OK with that.

Either way, it should be interesting to see how things shake out. If executed correctly, Google could really help out affiliates who do not have the technical know-how to create a Web site.

Thanks again.
