BMW.de clearly violated Google’s guidelines and Google responded by dropping them from the index. BMW has made some changes and the issue is under consideration by Google.
If it can happen to them, it can happen to you. Take care when designing sites for SEO.

The gorilla of online retail is testing a program to distribute third-party contextual ad links to select affiliates. Each affiliate will each receive a cut whenever someone clicks through.
